A mix of Natural and industrial - an beautiful fusion in one home

This glam and fabulous home is that of designer couple Jamie and Larry. They both have a love of natural objects and industrial style and have carefully edited their home to reflect just that.

Lovely kitchens that will inspire you

Once the weather gets chilly we spend even more time in the kitchen baking up warm goodies. So I thought it'd be appropriate to post some kitchens which get me excited for the upcoming cooking/baking season - even though I primarily just eat the food - and someone else makes it. All of these images are from our dearly departed Domino.

Happy Friday! I think this space out of House Beautiful is a refreshing change of pace in that it keeps with a lot of the Scandinavian characteristics we all know and love, but diverges from everything being based in white and takes on a warmer, more country feel. What do you think?

I'm back on the farm in Maryland and we're expecting 18-24" of snow today and tomorrow! I was super indulgent today after all my traveling and slept till noon. (Naughty, I know) I'm a little late today but I want to send you into the weekend with a little eye candy. If you're due for snow, hunker down with some homemade cookies and cocoa. If you're not due for snow, enjoy you're weekend anyway!
